"The Citadel of the New Moon" is a science-fiction tale which takes place in the near future.  An alien moon separated from the planet Nibiru and became an orbiting satellite of Earth.  The inhabitants of The New Moon are flesh-eating gargoyles who invade human cities at night.  The story alternates back and forth between action scenes and newspaper clippings.
